DARK SKY LAND is a documentary film that navigates New Mexico's Highway 60 remote astronomical corridor from Magdalena Ridge Observatory through Chaco Canyon to the Arizona border. A modern day story about a New Mexico community trying to save over eighty miles of dark sky, from the harmful effects light pollution has on the night, nocturnal wild life, human health, astronomy, bird migration.
